If you could eliminate one thing from existence completely, what would you choose? Imagine how life would be different without it in our world.
That’s a thought-provoking question! If I had to choose one thing to delete from existence, I might choose social media. Life without social media would be significantly different in various ways.
On one hand, it could lead to less distraction and deeper, face-to-face connections, as people would likely engage more in real-life interactions rather than through screens. There might be a reduction in the pressure to curate perfect online personas, which could lead to improved mental health for many.
On the other hand, the absence of social media would mean losing platforms for sharing information, building communities, and mobilizing movements. It would impact how we connect with distant friends and family, access news, and engage in social and political discourse. Overall, while life might feel more authentic and connected in some respects, we’d also lose a critical means of communication and self-expression. What would you choose to delete, and how do you think it would impact our world?
